Ben is the lead pastor of Cypress Community Church. He is married to Joni, they have five grown children, and live in Salinas, CA, the 14th most unchurched city in the United States. Ben serves a regional director for The Bonhoeffer Project and he recently wrote a book with his good friend, Bill Hull, entitled The Discipleship Gospel and The Discipleship Gospel Workbook, which is a helpful resource for conversation together in disciple-making relationships.
